Ali Akbar Seeds (Pvt.) Ltd. (AAS) was launched in 1995 with the mission of producing international standard high-quality seeds of promising local cultivars and hybrids by using national and exotic genetic resources for distribution to the growers at competitive prices. Ali Akbar Group’s quality seeds stand for sustainable agricultural growth and aim to eliminate the fear of hunger in the upcoming decades.

Currently Ali Akbar Seeds (Pvt.) Ltd. is engaged in the research, production, processing, and marketing of cotton, wheat, rice, and the hybrid seed of pearl millet, corn, sunflower, canola, sorghum, and various ranges of vegetables. Ali Akbar Seeds (Pvt.) Ltd. is the first private sector company working on breeding GMO crops in collaboration with China and CEMB Pakistan.

Ali Akbar Seeds (Pvt.) Ltd. developed its first double BT cotton seed CA-12 in Pakistan which is now successfully giving excellent results to farmers as well as ginners. AA-703 and CA-12 cotton seeds are the most common varieties developed by AAS being cultivated in large cotton areas of Pakistan.
